Introducing Our New Patient Advocate

We are so excited to bring all of you along with us on our Wheelhouse Health journey. While aspects of our organization look a bit different than they have in the past, we are confident Wheelhouse is still your one stop shop for all things healthcare navigation! We will make sure to keep all of you updated as we begin to roll out of new projects, but first, lets have a very warm introduction to our new Patient Advocate on board, Adam Gross!

Adam Gross is an independent patient advocate doing business as Peak Health Advocates (peakadvocates.com). He saves his clients time and money by resolving insurance and billing challenges and ensures that they can focus on their health instead of paperwork. Adam brings a unique perspective to patient advocacy, drawing from both professional and personal experience.

Prior to launching Peak Health Advocates, Adam enjoyed a successful career in healthcare technology. Most recently, he was product manager at Pega for a SaaS application that powers the contact centers and self-service channels of leading payers, providers, and life science organizations - including 7 of the

top 10 U.S. health insurers. Under his leadership, Pega Customer Service for Healthcare achieved top rankings in multiple Forrester reports while growing its customer footprint and expanding into new market segments.

Before joining Pega, Adam was a product strategy manager at Tufts Health Plan, where he launched and enhanced critical service technologies including the member portal, mobile applications, the provider directory, and the treatment cost estimator. His earlier roles at various technology companies focused on optimizing customer experiences.

Beyond his professional work, Adam serves as a mentor in the Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters program, reflecting his commitment to supporting others through guidance and advocacy. His transition from the corporate world to private practice represents a natural evolution of this mission to ensure everyone receives the support and resources they deserve. Adam lives in the MetroWest area of Massachusetts with his wife. They have one child pursuing a master's degree in education and another starting college in the fall.
