Insurance

HealthSource RI serves as Rhode Island's official health insurance marketplace. It's designed to simplify the process of finding and enrolling in affordable health coverage for individuals, families, and small businesses. 

Online:

  • Visit the HealthSource RI website: Go to https://healthsourceri.com/

  • Compare plans and get a quote: Use the online tools to see which plans are available and how much they would cost

  • Enroll: Once you've chosen a plan, you can enroll directly through the website

In-person:

  3. Visit the Walk-In Center: The HealthSource RI Walk-In Center in East Providence is open by appointment only. You can schedule an appointment online or by calling their contact center.

Medicaid Renewals

There are several ways to renew your Medicaid coverage in Rhode Island:

Online:

  • Log in to your HealthyRhode account: Visit https://healthyrhode.ri.gov/ and log in to your account. You should be able to complete your renewal online there.

  • Use the HealthyRhode mobile app: Download the app to your smartphone and complete your renewal through the app.

By Phone:

  • Call HealthSource RI: You can call them at 1-855-840-4774 Monday through Friday, except holidays, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Call the Department of Human Services (DHS): You can reach them at 1-855-697-4347 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, except holidays, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Call United Way's 211: If you need help accessing your account or learning about technology resources available to help you renew, call 211.

In-Person:

  • Visit a DHS office: You can go to any DHS office to get help with your renewal.

Primary Care:

For primary healthcare in Rhode Island we work with the following healthcare agencies
